Spring Porch and Outdoor Decor

It’s officially been spring for awhile now but it’s only just starting to feel like it after a rough April. Cold, dreary and wet is never a winning combo. Luckily the tulips waited patiently and are now showing off a bit and we’re finally able to spend more time on our porch. Which has me inspired to share our spring porch and outdoor decor.

It’s amazing what a couple blooms in some gorgeous planters and a new, inexpensive front door rug can do for your sanity. It just pulls everything together so quickly and makes your space feel welcoming. I’m still loving our new front door color, Farrow & Ball Light Blue. We had it mixed at Sherwin Williams in their semi-gloss Snap Dry Interior/Exterior door paint and painted it on in January on one of those absurdly warm winter days we had. It’s softer and more muted then our previous door color, Benjamin Moore Catalina Blue, which I still love by the way. I was just wanting something new yet true to my blue-loving heart.

If you’re needing some spring inspiration for your porch or outdoor spaces, I’ve got two options for you. Option 1 pulls in some darker blue and blue/green tones. I love that delicate bistro set and can’t wait to have a courtyard to put one in someday. Our garden is currently underway and I’ll give you an update soon.

Option 2 has some beautiful softer blues and natural accents. I love this one and that adorable plaid rug is so delicate and perfect for spring. The natural dried wreath looks lovely and is a nice alternative to faux.

I get a lot of questions about our dogwood wreath which is a few years old and I think from Joanns. I found some similar ones here and here. Well I hope you’ve enjoyed some of these inspiration boards and peek at our front door. Ruth Eileen Photography captured it beautifully.

As we think about sunnier days ahead, I hope you’re inspired by our spring porch and outdoor decor. You can shop our porch below. I did my best to link what I was able to find. Now join my friends below for further outdoor inspiration.
