We celebrated Aubrey’s 7th birthday yesterday with a sweet “Budding Artist” party. Sneaking it in before all the snow. I think we are all keenly aware of how hard life is. This January has been a lot. I’ve frankly felt a little paralyzed. But Parties have always been a creative joy for me and a tangible way to wildly celebrate the sweet things. And sometimes we just need more sweet things. We found lovely here in the simple things like Paint by Numbers with friends, homemade paper flowers and lots of treats. My babies didn’t come easy. So Aubrey girl, even in the hard days I’ll celebrate your lovely little life and great wonder you bring to our days. And as always, very grateful for the many talented artists who help pull it off. This year my MIL and Grandma Vicki fluffed all the paper flower garlands.
