Rug Transformation with Serena & Lily

Serena & Lily rug

I’m thrilled to partner with Serena & Lily and share this mini room transformation with you while Serena & Lily has their 30% off rugs sale. If there was ever a space in my home that has me scratching my head it’s my dining room. It has the bones. We’ve added a lot to it over the years–a coffered ceiling, wainscoting, beautiful twin milk glass chandeliers. But it’s all the other stuff and the fact it’s a pass through room that gets cluttered. So while I get all the other pieces worked out sometimes all you really need is a good rug to anchor your space.

I ended up selecting the  Channing Hand Knotted Rug for this dining room mini-transformation. It has a beautiful light grey background. a lovely design and blue threading that looks even prettier in person. We went with an 8 x 10 size and it’s perfect.

Perhaps my favorite part about this hand-knotted rug is how soft it feels underfoot. It’s so soft and cozy to walk on and Aubrey loves it. Perfect for the crawling baby. This would look adorable in a nursery. The quality craftsmanship is evident and the detail work is beautiful.

Here’s a view from a couple years ago of the plain Jute rug we had in there. We moved it upstairs to replace a fraying one in Cade’s bedroom. There wasn’t anything wrong with it and we didn’t have extra money floating around at the time we first moved in several years ago. Jute is a very cost efficient option and made since at the time. But the cost efficient option doesn’t always endure. Sales are a good time to upgrade some of those lackluster choices. The rugs at Serena & Lily are made to last and sure to become heirlooms. They strive for true artisanship in each rug.

I hope you love this rug as much as I do. If it’s not your cup of tea, the good news is EVERY single one of Serena & Lily’s rugs are on sale right now and there’s sure to be one that is perfect for any room in your home. This one in runner form would look beautiful in a kitchen. Snag them up. These beautiful pictures were captured by Ruth Eileen Photography and all opinions of this partnership are my own. I love Serena & Lily products and this rug is no exception.
