Woven Gallery Wall Reveal

Since we finished our renovation in 2018, there’s been some semblance of a gallery wall in our bathroom ever since. I had a set of four faux wood frames from Target for ages that I added to as I realized how much I loved seeing family pictures on that wall. You spend a surprising amount of time in the bathroom over the years, turns out. Sooooo, after we put the Sister Parish wallpaper up a few years ago and had the lovely cafe curtains made, I wanted a more refined look that came from all the same type of frame. Without further adieu, our woven gallery wall reveal.

This adorable scalloped woven rattan picture frame comes in the standard three sizes and I have them all: 4 x 6″, 5 x 7″, and 8 x 10″. They’re a lighter color than the Aerin branch on William Sonoma Home and much cheaper. They’re also on Amazon but sold in a set which can make it hard to order the right amount of each size you need. They look beautiful layered on the wall and I can’t help but treasure this space all the more. What is better than looking at these sweet babies every day!?

I used these command strips on the backs after ripping the stand off. They work great and I’ve had no problem with them not holding, even when affixed to wallpaper. I used these specifically because I didn’t want to put a bunch of nails in the wallpaper.

I think sometimes we assume gallery walls need to be displayed in more trafficked areas of our home but don’t underestimate the power of the bathroom. Looking at the things we treasure the most is a great way to start the day or end the day.
