HOME TOUR
Having littles around means we are swimming in books. Literally swimming in them. And my hubby scratches his head when I buy more. But we read them. All. Day. Long. And one of my favorite outings is to the bookstore with the boys. Confessions of a bookaholic: my hubby and I had a date night recently and we found ourselves in Barnes n Nobles. And somehow, the only books we brought home were kids books. It may be a problem.
For the changing seasons and different holidays I love decorating the boys’ bookshelves with these finds, like our own little library. It captures their imaginations and focuses on the joy and importance of reading. This can easily be done with library books for a cost savings. Here are our favorites this Valentine’s Day:

This sweet book has the Very Hungry Caterpillar describing all the reasons he loves you. Cute and sweet. It is also the perfect size for little hands.

We love every book in this series and actually meant to get the Love Monster and the Last Chocolate for Valentine’s Day. But this one has a sweet focus on friendship which we love.

This is a new favorite for us. We read it every day. Cade is almost 3 and learning what his different feelings are. This book helps us navigate learning to recognize the different things we feel in a whimsical, artful way.

This is a classic and always a favorite but especially sweet this time of year.

Wherever You Go by Pat Zietlow Miller
This new-to-us book had us at the first page. The illustrations are just spectacular, fantastical and imaginative. You join a rabbit and his friends as he journeys on until he eventual comes home. A sweet story about the beauty of home for all of us.
