I sit here a bit in awe of it taking me 25 days to write a welcome 2017 post. Good grief. With two rambunctious littles, “alone time with the computer” looks a bit like Mount Everest. But alas, they’re in the bathtub as we speak so here I write. Welcome 2017. You’re already shaping up to be a quite unique year. I write from a hopeful and grounded place and am never more confident in our daily ability to choose to find the lovely amidst the difficult, the ugly or the confusing. I walk confidently into this year trusting it will all work out, as it always does. So cheers 2017, with my water cup in hand, I salute you.
Thank you for sticking with me as we get this blog off the ground. This year will be a fun one. We have a trip to Sri Lanka and the Maldives in the works, as well as the potential 2nd phase remodel which will add a much needed attached garage, mudroom, open concept kitchen, upstairs laundry and master suite. We have parties galore in the works and in the mean time, what I’ve coined “a master refresh” to our existing bedroom. So get excited. The best is yet to be. Let’s find some lovely together as we walk through this year!
